My first blog post of the new year and my first painting using the liquid watercolors I got for Christmas. They're every bit as bright and luminous as I hoped and I'm going to have fun getting to know the best ways to use them.
Beautiful colours. What a happy image to welcome the year when it is such a grey day outside! Lucky you to receive such a gift of these vibrant watercolours. Be sure to scan each masterpiece for future use in case the original brightness fades a little. Some kinds are not lightfast. I shall look forward to seeing more work created with them.
